The Community Artspace, St Paul's Family and Learning Centre Cafe, Grosvenor Road, St Paul's
For the first time this year the Artspace at St Paul's Family and Learning Centre is linking with the Pierian Centre to host Celebrating Sanctuary 2. This new exhibition is an extension of the original, some of the work is a retrospective view of past Exhibitions, some is new and challenging work by new artists.

Artists involved included Ricky Romain, Rex Cooper, Annie Davenport, John Akayzar and Behnaz.
'Peace Rose' by John Akayar represents the different skin colours in our community in the different coloured petals of the rose, creating a harmonious unity.

The painted mandala above was created in a workshop as part of Sanctuary three years ago.
 
 


'To Begin', by Ali Hobbs, is a film about women's struggle to get water for their families, prints from the Pierian Centre collection.
